On Monday night, temperatures will plummet to between -2 and 3 degrees with widespread frost on the cards.Tuesday will be"dry with sunny spells", as well as some showers, with temperatures expected to be between 4 and 8 degrees.By Wednesday, the weather will turn colder still, with temperatures reaching 2 to 5 degrees, and some wintery showers expected as the day goes on. Snowfall is likely on higher ground.
Thursday will remain very cold, with temperatures"remaining in low single figures", says Met Éireann, who also forecast"scattered showers of sleet, snow and hail". In terms of Met Éireann's further outlook, there doesn't appear to be any indication that the weather will warm up by the weekend.Instead, it will stay"very cold with some wintry showers and widespread frost by night".Share article
