Two funds – Women Have Options Ohio and Faith Choice Ohio – expect demand for abortions will increase if the state’s clinics are shuttered and women have to travel out of state.

Demonstrators protest outside of the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Washington. A draft opinion suggests the U.S. Supreme Court could be poised to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion nationwide, according to a Politico report released Monday. Whatever the outcome, the Politico report represents an extremely rare breach of the court's secretive deliberation process, and on a case of surpassing importance.

The court hasn’t ruled yet on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a Mississippi abortion case, but the decision could come as soon as Friday morning.in May and showed a majority of the U.S. Supreme Court favors overturning Roe, which would make abortion rights a state-by-state decision.
