Leaving her job as an accountant at KPMG in 2017, Laura Heuston felt that the business and finance community was finally about to get serious on sustainability. Setting up as an independent sustainability consultant, she was betting the house on that hunch being right.

“When I left KPMG in 2017, nobody wanted a sustainable finance consultant,” Heuston, co-founder of Sustainability Works, told the Business Post.
