‘I’ve been using self-tan for over a decade and this £14 formula is my favourite yet’ *Affiliates
Having first discovered the magic of self-tan over a decade ago, I’ve tried almost every type of formula going: instant mousse, gradual body creams, even at-home spray tans. For me, nothing beats the feeling of looking beautifully bronzed in day-to-day life.
If this sounds like you, then you may be interested to hear about Isle of Paradise’s brand new Self Tanning Oil Mists, which are currently on offer at Boots for just £14.95 here instead of the usual RRP of £21.95. The brand, which was founded by celebrity spray tanner Jules Von Hep, is already renowned for its colour-correcting tanning products, but this one is a real game-changer.
The formula is jam-packed with hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, sea kelp and squalane, and when shaken, they’re combined with seven nourishing oils including grape seed, argan and avocado. The aim is to lock in moisture over 24 hours for a long-lasting glow. How do I use it? Because this self-tanner is clear when it goes on, I was concerned that I’d miss a spot without noticing, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The easy-to-apply mister covered my skin seamlessly as I spritzed the formula all over my body, before blending in with a mitt. As per instructions on the bottle, I left my hands and feet till last, being careful not to apply too much and using only the residue left on my mitt.
