The king of the dupes strikes again 👑
Aldi has long been known as the king of dupes. Whether they're mugging off Colin the Caterpillar or launching a new range of subs that look suspiciously similar to the high street's favourite sandwich chain, Aldi have got dupes covered.
Take Cover Concealer First up, Aldi has a Take Cover Concealer in 10ml tubes. Its a dupe of the Tarte Shape Tape concealer which is priced at £27. The Aldi one costs just £3.99. Illuminating Primer Aldi's snapshot ready Illuminating Primer comes in a 30ml bottle for £5.99. On skin, it's light with a very subtle glow.Its a dupe of the Smashbox 'The Original Photo Finish Foundation Primer' which retails at £28 and to save a huge £22, I would say it's worth it. With Aldi without a foundation to test at present, the primer seriously did the trick, I don't think you could tell my full face was without foundation. Adds to basket.
While it's obviously massively cheaper than its dupe, I would also be tempted to jump ship from Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder too - and that costs the same. In combination with the concealer, it's got the power to make you look like you've had at least 12 hours sleep. I don't think it's a bad dupe, but as a singular blusher, I don't have much to write home about. It's alright, and if you are a lover of Nars Blush in Behave, I'd recommend testing it out.
