We visited Blackpool's SEA LIFE, Peter Rabbit and Tower Eye in a day and one was pretty disappointing

We took on the challenge for good reason, because so often in Blackpool you go to book tickets to one attraction - SEALIFE, for example - and before you get to checkout you have been told there are discounts available if you purchase tickets to one or more other attractions at the same time.

As soon as we approached the tanks, it was clear it had changed a lot since I had last visited - and for the better. As we reached the gift shop, my daughter was very happy to see that a life-size Peppa Pig was there and more than happy to meet her. The character was holding storytime events with children throughout the day, but we had just missed the slot as we hadn't realised the event was running.

Admittedly, this may be due to the fact I had built up anticipation for the visit in my mind, wondering what world we'd be entering when we crossed the famous gate - or it may be that the attraction is pretty small and there isn't much to do. When we did go in, however, we were lucky enough to meet Peter Rabbit himself - something my daughter was delighted about. After spending a while interacting with the group of four children, they each got the chance to take a picture with him one-on-one.

After walking through an area with walls covered in the history and interesting facts about the tower, we headed into a room which was filled with people who were also waiting to take a trip to the top of the tower. We were all instructed to grab some 3D goggles and told to find a place within the cinema.
