We're looking for veterans who are willing to share his or her story and be photographed.

Sep. 13, 2022, 6:00 p.m.Tim Hawk | NJ Advance Media for NJ.comDuring my time as a photojournalist, I have covered many events that honored and recognized WWII veterans. Many would briefly speak about their experiences sharing memories, both good and bad.

The government estimates there are just over 240,000 veterans remaining — about 6,700 in New Jersey. We want to preserve these memories and tell the stories of the brave New Jersey WWII veterans who fought for our freedom and served our country.
