Things are hotting up a bit
Lancashire will sizzle under the sun as the county is treated to another hot bank holiday weekend, forecasters have predicted.
As earlier in the month, plenty of sunshine is expected, though there will also be some cloudy spells and a cooler breezes. According to the Met Office, highs of 20C are expected on Saturday with "another fine day overall" expected.Moving further into the weekend, the pleasant weather is expected to continue, meaning crowds will likely flock to the county's beaches, parks and attractions.
FRIDAY EVENING Staying dry overnight. Cloud remaining for many but clearer spells poking through in places. A rather mild night with temperatures in double digits for some; cooler under any clearer intervals. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
