Met Eireann's long-range forecast suggests that wind and rain could return in the second week of September
Met Eireann are forecasting the stunning weather to last for another week or so before an unwelcome change arrives.
Weather experts are predicting temperatures in the twenties until the middle of next week at least with a stunning weekend in store.Met Eireann's 30-day forecast Week 1 High pressure will continue to dominate the weather pattern next week with well below average rainfall expected. Temperatures will return closer to average in the east of the country with the northeasterly airflow being maintained while temperatures will remain slightly above average in the west. Benign weather conditions should continue with an overall low hazards risk. By week 2 high pressure will move away allowing a predominately west to southwest airflow to set up.
