The weather presenter has been at the forefront of Irish weather for decades, and spent 30 years presenting weather bulletins on RTÉ.
"We used to get charts on electrostatic paper, and it would take half an hour for a few charts to come in," she told RTE. She was promoted to Head of Forecasting in 2017 and remembered it being an incredibly busy first year in the position.
