Weather warning in place across NI for the week ahead

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland at the start of the week as the wet weather looks set to continue

While we have gotten used to basking in the sunshine in recent weeks, it is time to dig the waterproofs back out as it looks like the rain is here to stay for another few days at least. Monday looks set to be a bright day with sunny spells and few passing showers. Some of these could be heavy with thunder and we could see a maximum temperature 23 °C.Temperatures look set to be mild for the morning commute with highs of 15 or 16 °C across Northern Ireland and it looks set to remain warm into the evening with overnight temperatures sitting around 15 °C.

Tuesday looks set to get off to a relatively dry start with a band of rain moving in from the east around lunchtime. Again, these showers are likely to be heavy at times and could bring pockets of thunder.Thursday looks set to be a dry day but cloudy day with highs of around 20 °C and the potential to feel even warmer.
