Ireland has been lashed with heavy rain in recent days, with areas such as Cork being among the worst effected.

Meanwhile, the status yellow warning is in place for Dublin, Louth and Meath, and the counties can expect heavy rain with the possibility of thunder.Possible impacts include localised flooding and dangerous travel conditions.
In Northern Ireland, a rain warning is in place for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry.
