As well as coveting Ortega’s, people are now attempting to mimic her makeup, with the term “Wednesday Addams makeup” garnering an impressive 41 million views on TikTok.
In the show, Ortega is seen wearing smudged black eyeliner around her eyes and a deep plum lip colour on her lips. She pairs the beauty look with Wednesday’s signature long black braids. One video, which has nearly 400,000 views, shows user @melybaby.1 trying to recreate the look by prepping her skin with moisturiser and applying a light foundation. She then contours her cheeks to make them look more defined and hollowed, and applies a soft red eyeshadow shade underneath her eyes to create the illusion of under eye bags.
