In October 2021, it was announced that Saxenda weight loss injections would be made available on the NHS and – unsurprisingly – people were extremely interested in the news. While Saxenda has undoubtedly been a life-changing treatment for some, it has sparked a conversation about whether it's become too readily available to those it is not suitable for – particularly without the guidance of a doctor.
