This month will be a bit different from previous Octobers due to an upcoming solar eclipse and Jupiter's retrograde motion.
Welcome to your October horoscopes! This month will be a bit different from previous October s. Due to an upcoming solar eclipse on October 14th, we may feel overly emotional or experience some tension in our relationships. Libra season usually brings balance and harmony, but eclipses are known for disrupting the cosmic order. This lunation will likely upset the cosmic balance usually associated with this time of year.
Indeed, Libra season (lasting until November 23rd) is governed by the symbol of the Scales of Justice. But eclipses are disruptive transits during which either the Sun (ego, rationality) or the Moon (emotion, intuition) tilts the sky, so to speak, in one direction. When this happens, we tend to feel either emotionally unseen by lovers, friends, and partners (lunar eclipse) or overly emotional (solar eclipse like the one in a couple of days). So, when it comes to partnerships and negotiating), be not surprised if the next 48 hours feel tense, charged, and emotionally vexed with those close to you. The good news: this lunation only lasts a couple of days. Also, Jupiter will be retrograde from September 4th until November 2nd, which means we may experience a less expansive and optimistic mood about life. Why? Jupiter is kind of like the motivational speaker of the Zodiac, always inspiring us to go big. But, during a retrograde (when a planet appears to be moving backwards relative to us), a planet’s vigour flags a bit. So, be aware that we won’t have Jupiter at full force around the 9th. I guess, you’ll have to rely on yourself rather than the Cosmos then. Aside from those transits, October is pretty low-key (like seashells).
