Well done!

A Wellingborough takeaway has won at the British Kebab Awards. Millennium Pizzas & Grill in Midland Road secured first place in the Just Eat Best Delivery category. It beat the competition after the judges got together and filtered through a huge volume of entries.

The star-studded event was held yesterday and attended by MP's Angela Rayner, Nadhim Zahawi, Christ Heaton-Harris and Ed Davey. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also left the following message for the awards show.He said: "I am delighted to extend my best wishes for the 11th British Kebab Awards. Hospitality in all its forms plays a critical role in supporting our economy as well as communities and high streets right across the UK.

"I hope that this year’s event provides an excellent opportunity to build on collective expertise and passion, and to honour those who continue to work hard within the food industry. I would like to pay tribute to the excellent British Kebab Awards winners and nominees and wish them, and the entire industry, my warm congratulations and every success for 2023.”
