England international Declan Rice will return to West Ham's London Stadium on Wednesday night for the first time since his £105million transfer to London rivals Arsenal
Jason Cundy has told West Ham fans they will be an "absolute disgrace" if they boo ex-skipper Declan Rice on Wednesday night.
Yet talkSPORT presenter Cundy, who played for the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham during his career, hopes Rice will get a good reception from West Ham. He believes the player deserves a round of applause after winning silverware at the London Stadium. Beating Fiorentina 2-1 in the Europa Conference League final ended West Ham's 43-year wait for a major trophy. He was widely expected to leave the Hammers following that game having revealed his desire to play in the Champions League six months earlier.
"Here's what I want to hear - I want West Ham fans to phone up and show their appreciation for Declan Rice what he did at that football club, what he achieved at that football club and what he delivered at that football club."
