Many counties are reeling from Tuesday's stormy conditions after status yellow thunderstorm warnings were placed on 24 counties
The next two or three days are to be largely dry with slightly lower temperatures than normal for this time of year before rainfall resumes over the weekend as counties recover from Tuesday's thunderstorm flooding.

Going into Saturday, we can expect showers across most parts and an overcast day. Sunday will then see rain pushing eastwards across the country for the afternoon until early evening before clearing. Weather models show a clearer Monday in terms of precipitation.Wednesday "Wednesday will bring a mix of cloud and a few sunny spells. Some early mist too. While there will be a lot of dry weather, scattered showers will occur with some heavy ones possible.
