If he is suspended by the school, or place on leave, it will likely be associate head coach Rodney Terry who takes over for Beard. Beard hired Terry last season. Terry was on Rick Barnes' staff from 2002-11. After that, Terry spent 10 years as head coach at Fresno State and UTEP. Terry isn't the only coach on staff with head coaching experience. Assistant Bob Donewald has coached pro-basketball overseas. There is also managing director Chris Ogden, who played at UT for Rick Barnes.
