With the cost of living on the rise and energy bills at record highs, many people across the country are trying to keep warm, but witout turning up the thermostat too much.
Weather experts predict temperatures will dip through the weekend and into next week, with temperatures of -4C predicted in parts of Lancashire, including Burnley on Wednesday, January 14. Met Office Meteorologist and Presenter Aidan McGivern said: "As we move through next week often below average temperatures could support a mixture of rain, hail sleet and snow. Most of any snow accumulation is likely over higher parts of the northern UK.
