Every year most people find themselves making the unavoidable trip to the dentist for an annual check-up, or for many people the trips may be more regular than this. From check-ups and cleanings to fillings and tooth removal, there are so many reasons people find themselves booking an appointment and, inevitably, opening their wallets.
These include if the practice is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. All of the sites in the city centre that have had inspections have passed all of these areas with no action necessary, although some locations have not yet had inspections carried out. Smmmile Store Orthoworld 2000 Nottingham The inspector stated: "Staff considered patients’ different needs. This included providing ground-floor treatment rooms for patients with disabilities and families with children. The practice also had access to telephone interpreter services."
City Dental Practice The inspector stated: "Staff could show how they ensured high-quality sustainable services and demonstrated improvements over time. Staff stated they felt respected, supported and valued. They were proud to work in the practice. Staff discussed their training needs during annual appraisals and during clinical supervision. They also discussed learning needs, general wellbeing and aims for future professional development.
The Ropewalk Dental and Implant Suite The inspector stated: "The practice organised and delivered services to meet patients’ needs. It took account of patient needs and preferences. Staff were clear on the importance of emotional support needed by patients when delivering care. Patients described high levels of satisfaction with the responsive service provided by the practice."
