A digestive nutrition expert offers advice on items to donate to food pantries that will be suitable for people with food intolerances and allergies who are also struggling with food insecurity.
best-selling author, she specializes in food intolerance and dietary approaches to improving digestive health, such as gluten-free and low-FODMAP . Her passion is to educate health professionals and patients on gut health topics as well as patient advocacy via her #IBelieveinyourStory campaign.
In the spring of 2021, she launched the #EndHungerPain initiative, aiming to raise awareness of the intersection of food insecurity and food intolerance and the ways in which food insecurity can have a disproportionate impact on those with allergies or digestive conditions such as IBS and celiac disease.
