Snow is forecast for Yorkshire today
Leeds is set to see wintry blasts on Thursday as snow and sleet is predicted for some parts wider Yorkshire.
The Met Office has also warned of frequent wintry showers which are likely to fall on frozen surfaces in places, leading to the formation of icy patches. These showers are likely to fall as snow on high ground with some parts of South Leeds expecting snow.North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire coast are seeing the worst of the ice warnings and the coldest temperatures with some possible snow in high ground in North Yorkshire. The Met Office predicts overcast for Leeds from 4pm, and it says it will sleet at 7pm - it will remain cloudy for the rest of the evening and into the night.Temperatures will hit a high of 2C.
