A new festival in the Dallas Arts District celebrates the diversity of Latin American music, dance, food and art. Visitors can browse through a pop-up market curated by Hecho con Amor and take in live performances from Asociación Puertorriqueña de DFW, Anita N. Martínez Ballet Folklorico and cumbia band Sabor Puro.FREE
The Oak Cliff Coalition for the Arts presents a party on the Latino Cultural Center plaza that celebrates Hispanic and native cultures. There will be music, dance and poetry throughout the evening. Guests can shop for folk art, imports and food in the mercadito . Sept. 16 from 5 to 11:30 p.m. at the Latino Cultural Center, 2600 Live Oak, Dallas.
