Scottish teachers and bin collectors from Liverpool are protesting today in another day of industrial action.

Teachers, bin workers and staff from a drinks supply company are all striking in yet another day of industrial action.

Unite members who work at the company’s plant in Leven started a series of walkouts this month, with more planned right up until April 3. Unite estimates some of its members could lose 6% of their pay. Diageo has previously said the action only involves 10 people. They will strike again next month, with teachers across two local authorities refusing to go to work.Groups of students were seen supporting their teachers’ demand for a raise Teachers in England and Wales are also joining the industrial action for the next protest on February 1.
