Ramsdale had been on the bench for the previous four Premier League games and was expected to remain there with the Spain international continuing between the posts for a vital London derby. The former Bournemouth and Sheffield United shot-stopper was given a leave of absence on Saturday, however, after his wife gave birth to a baby boy.
