Cardi clashed online with disappointed fans who expected her to be at Sunday night’s ceremony—and ended up deleting both her Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Though Halsey walked the Grammys 2022 red carpet in a sultry maroon and black ensemble, the singer was only present for part of the awards show. Inprior to the ceremony, Halsey was transparent about attending this year's show only a few days after having surgery.
“The last time I attended the Grammys was 2017 and it was 3 days after I had my first Endometriosis surgery. I walked the carpet with my stitches still in,” Halsey said in their“As luck would have it, I’m attending tomorrow for the first time in years and I had surgery again 3 days ago. Only posting this to say, if you see me be gentle lol I’m fragile. Fragile but excited,” they wrote alongside a smiley face and heart emoji.
About an hour into the show, Halsey posted an update on their Instagram story that they left the ceremony early. “Not feeling super well so I left early. Had to see BTS tho,” they wrote. “Going to get pasta and sleep. Thanks for everything luv u all.
