Hugh Jackman recently talked about why he chose to return to the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3 after stating that he was done playing the character.

That being said, it wasn’t until August that Jackman fully committed to coming back as Wolverine, which is when he informed Ryan Reynolds of the decision. “Oh my God, I’m thrilled,” Reynolds said of Jackman’s return. “It’s like old home week. To get to be on set with one of my closest friends each and every day is a dream come true. But to do it with these two iconic characters side by side, that’s beyond our wildest dreams.”
