Ireland captain Enda Rowland will think twice before bringing his favourite hurls to Cusack Park, Ennis this Saturday afternoon.
“I can catch the ball in the small square but you have your four steps and you release it after that,” he said. A veteran of four series with Scotland, Rowland says it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to captain an Ireland side. which includes the likes of the Morrissey brothers - Dan and Tom - Eoin Cody, Mossy Keoghan and Aidan McCarthy.“You think captaining your club is a huge honour,” he continued. “Captaining your county is a huge honour but when you're asked to captain your country - the only time you can hurl for your country - it's an unbelievable honour.
“It was brilliant doing it at the time. It was actually three years in Scotland. was a great old experience. I don't need to say any more.”
