The Minister for Housing has committed to introducing new low-rise, medium-density housing standards. Architect Tony Reddy explains why this is a major step forward

Tony Reddy, architect and director of Reddy A+U, will make a presentation entitled: Low Rise Medium Density Housing and Viability at the IHBA Housing Summit at Croke Park on Wednesday next, March 22.

The presentation is a response to Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien’s proposed legislation to permit this type of housing as one way to tackle the Irish housing crisis in a sustainable and viable way.
