Frances Crowley runs The Black Tiger in the Women's Irish Network For Racing Lady Riders Handicap, and it will be ridden by Frances and Pat's daughter, Hannah
The wife of the late jockey Pat Smullen is to saddle her first runner in 16 years at Leopardstown this evening.
Crowley is a former Irish champion jockey and trained horses in the 1990s and 2000s, including Saoire to win the 2005 1,000 Guineas.But she let her training license lapse in 2008 as she brought up a family with her late husband, nine-time champion flat jockey, Pat Smullen. Now Frances will be cheering on her and Pat's daughter Hannah in the closing race at 8.15pm at Leopardstown.
