Will Insecure's Issa & Molly Get a Happily Ever After? Yvonne Orji Weighs In
on Tuesday, Oct. 12, Yvonne wasn't able to reveal where Issa and Molly's recently rocky relationship currently stands, but shespeculate about where she'd personally like them to end up, and whether that's with or without their former beaus.Jay EllisYvonne joked that Nina must be projecting, because "what did Lawrence do to you?" but as Nina explained, she simply thinks "a man comes in second to Molly and Issa's friendship.
"This is Yvonne talking, not Molly or Yvonne talking for Molly, I'm more like...while I appreciate that, I also want these Black women to come out with Black love," Yvonne added. "Or white love...I just want them to have love.""I feel like you can have both," she continued. "We shouldn't have to choose. But you know, again, I didn't write it. So we gonna find out.
Issa, on the other hand, did write it , so although Yvonne revealed she'd be down for "two more seasons and a movie," it's just not in the cards.
