Pennsylvania is likely to again play a key role in whether former President Donald Trump can recapture the White House in 2024.
Former President Donald Trump’s announcement that he’s running for president in 2024 means that Pennsylvania will certainly land in the national spotlight again.
Those losses here and in other swing states have sullied Trump’s reputation among some Republicans who blame him for stymying the vaunted congressional “red wave” that never materialized.that Trump has become “toxic” now. “The party needs to move on from Trump,” the official said. “All party leaders should be working with President Trump and his team on figuring out the best plan to win and not wasting time and resources in finding an alternative,” Christiana said. “That ship has sailed.”
Christopher Borick, a political science professor at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, said it has been six years since Trump had much to celebrate in Pennsylvania.
