The heir to the throne joined a private team meeting at St George’s Park before the footballers set off for to Qatar today ahead of their first game on Monday. He presented the players with their jersey numbers yesterday evening, and posted for photos with the players.‘We are all rooting for you, enjoy it.’
The Three Lions were seen leaving their training ground and and boarding a plane to the Middle East this morning, ready for their match with Iran on Monday which will kick off the tournament for them.
