The path of true love didn't always run smoothly for the Prince and Princess of Wales as they briefly split in the early days of their romance - and a new book has delved into what exactly happened during their short separation
Although they have now been married for more than 13 years and juggle their royal duties with bringing up their three children, things were once a lot rockier. And in fact, in the years before they became engaged, the pair, who had met at university famously split.
