National Tree Week, proudly supported by Coillte, is taking place next week from Sunday 3rd March – Sunday 10th March!a weekend away in Wicklow including overnight accommodation and a trip to Beyond the Trees Avondale at Avondale Forest Park, Co. Wicklow.
National Tree Week is all about communities joining together and celebrating all the good things that trees and forests do for us in promoting and maintaining biodiversity.Wood is an environmentally friendly resource grown in Ireland and used to make things like furniture, fences and houses.Trees clean the air we breathe and are important for biodiversity providing homes for plants and animals.
