The John Hewitt Room is a handsome bay-windowed room with references to the poet dotted throughout. With a painting of the nearby Towpath by artist and long-time friend of Hewitt, John Luke, a bronze sculpted bust of the poet by local artist Anto Brennan, and a selection of books to read includingby poet Michael Longley, The John Hewitt Room at The Harrison overlooks the Belfast streets that the poet knew so well and cherished dearly.
