The stylish winner of the ‘Best Dressed Lady’ on Ladies Day of the Galway Races was today announced as Davinia Knight from Portarlington County Laois.

Noted for her exquisite black ensemble Davinia has walked away with a cash prize of €10,000. Davinia is a stay-at-home mother of two, her children are ages 4 and 20. Davinia said she is"all about sustainability" so she rented her dress from Guna rentals in Galway and rented her hat from Jennifer's Hat Emporium.
Eva Hayes Morrissey from County Limerick, who works as a secondary school teacher, was crowned ‘Best Hat’ as she wowed in a stunning red side-disc hat with a gold embellished trim from Irish milliner Cathriona King. Eva won a cash prize of €3,000.
