Winnie the Pooh horror movie reveals dark fate for Eeyore
The horror film is inspired by AA Milne's children's book
, though it has none of its original charm. Instead, it sees a deranged Pooh and Piglet torture and attack innocent victims.creator Rhys Waterfield revealed that another iconic character, Eeyore, meets a grim end. At the start of the film, Christopher Robin as a child looks after the animal-human hybrids Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore. Yet, as he grows up he neglects them and abandons them leaving them to grow into"feral beings".Waterfield explained:"It's really massively changed them as they've grown up, and they become these kind of unhinged, feral beings who are really sadistic and twisted, it's altered their perception so much that they're just absolutely deranged.
When the rights became available to the first 1926 Winnie-The-Pooh book, Waterfield immediately thought of turning it into a horror film that moved away from the"dry" monsters of werewolves, zombies, vampires and ghosts.
