Tracey Laing was surrounded by family and friends at the Wishaw Malt for her birthday lunch after surviving being knocked down by a motorist back in October 1987.
A Wishaw woman who was told she'd not make 50 celebrated in style over the weekend after reaching the milestone birthday.
Her proud mum Jackie said: "Tracey had a great time. She was slightly taken aback by how many people came out to see her."I'm so proud of her reaching her 50th birthday. Her doctors said she would never make it this far."
