The Cannabis Career Fair & Vendor Expo comes at a time when the cannabis market prepares to open and expand.

The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission just awarded 50 companies permits to grow recreational weed legally, and another 18 to manufacture cannabis goods. With state medical cannabis sellers expected to get permission to sell to adult consumers by summer, the market will soon open.

On April 5 students and job seekers eager to enter the cannabis space will be able to meet with employers at The Cannabis Career Fair and Business Expo, co-hosted by NJ Cannabis Insider, the New Jersey CannaBusiness Association and Stockton University. The event at Stockton University in Galloway will feature keynotes from cannabis business leaders, professionals and a vendor floor for networking. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Student tickets enter free; industry professionals pay $99.

Masks are no longer required in most indoor spaces on Stockton campuses for those who are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines. Anyone wishing to wear a mask may continue to do so.
