The Wolfe Tones shocked 200 fans in London with an unforgettable surprise on Sunday, delivering a secret show to the lucky revellers including some famous Irish faces.
Amongst the audience at the special and intimate gig were fellow Irish icons comedian and actress Aisling Bea and rockers Fontaines D.C.In a truly intimate and fitting setting, The Wolfe Tones treated the crowd to a night of soul-stirring melodies and rousing anthems, which have enthralled generations of Irish music fans across the world with their own unique style for 60 years.
The evening’s charged atmosphere, rich with Irish heritage, was the perfect lead-up to their final tour, setting the stage for what promises to be a historic final London show at Finsbury Park this July, set to be the largest gathering celebrating traditional Irish music in the UK.
