A woman in her 60s tragically died in a house fire on the north side of Cork city on Thursday morning.
Cork Beo reports that emergency services rushed to the scene of the blaze after they were altered at 8.45am this morning. Two fire engines were dispatched to the house at Barnavara Crescent - one from Ballyvolane and one from Anglesea Street - after the alarm was raised.
