Two addresses near Towcester were searched
A 61-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs in South Northamptonshire. Police were alerted to potential illegal activity following reports from members of the public.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs at an address in Deanshanger. She has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries. Northamptonshire Police said the warrants were carried out as a direct result of community intelligence. Reports were received from members of the public who were concerned about drug-related issues in their area.
“This is another prime example of how we can work together with our partners and communities to tackle the issues affecting their local area and I would urge the community to keep reporting suspicious activity to us."
