Woman and child drowned in Blackhawk pool on Saturday afternoon
A woman and a child drowned in a backyard pool in a Contra Costa County community on Saturday afternoon, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.
They rushed to a home in response to a report of a woman who was in a swimming pool and not breathing at a home, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Upon their arrival, they were told a child — who had also been in the pool — had already been taken to San Ramon Regional Medical Center.Contra Costa County sheriff’s office is investigating the deaths, but there is no evidence of foul play.
