A woman has been arrested following the death of a cyclist in Co Kerry between 8am and 9am this morning.
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of the crash between a car and a bike on the Killorglin to Cromane Road.His body has been taken to University Hospital Kerry for postmortem examination. A woman in her 20s has been arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and is at a Garda Station in the Kerry Region.
The road is currently closed for an examination by Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place. Gardaí are asking witnesses or anyone with footage to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 6671160, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
