A woman has celebrated her 103rd birthday with friends and family at her side.
Lynda Hill, a resident at Brunswick Court Bupa Care Home in Stratford Road, Watford, was treated to a party on August 27, the day of her birthday.Celebrations continued with an afternoon tea party with fellow residents and staff.The care home’s dining room was decorated with “happy 103rd birthday” balloons and sparkly party banners.
Brunswick Court Bupa Care Home in Watford held a party for Lynda that was attended by family and fellow residents. Lilly the dog was also part of the fun. Commenting on her milestone birthday, Lynda said: “I had a lovely time celebrating my 103rd birthday with my family, fellow residents and of course, Lily. It was very special.”
Lynda was born and raised in Wales and lived with her late husband in Swansea, where they ran a grocery store.The Watford care home decorated the dining room with balloons and birthday banners. Kitchen staff made Lynda a birthday cake.
