An inquest has been opened
A Nottinghamshire woman who was involved in a crash whilst cycling died from multiple injuries, an inquest has heard. Pauline Askew was involved in a collision with a car in London Road, Retford, at around 10.15am on December 14.
Assistant coroner Laurinda Bower said a provisional post mortem had found the death had been a result of multiple injuries. She said the inquest would resume after the completion of inquiries by Nottinghamshire Police. "We would also like to say how amazing the hospital nurses have been over the last few days. The care, love and kindness Pauline and ourselves received is something we will never forget.
