A huge emergency services response was scrambled to St Vincent Street last night
Emergency services rushed to St Vincent Street around 7.40pm on Thursday evening but the pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash invoved two vehicles and a pedestrian. A woman, 28, was arrested in connection with the incident but has been released following enquiries. Police locked down the area around the horror smash last night, with St Vincent Street, Pitt Street, Elmbank Street and Elderslie Street all closed. Pictures from the scene show a huge emergency service response, with a number of police units in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023, officers received a report of a crash involving two vehicles and a pedestrian on St Vincent Street, Glasgow.“The driver of one of the vehicles, a 28-year-old woman, was arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries.
