A woman has died after a car crashed into a lorry on a Scots road on Monday afternoon
Emergency services raced to the B981 outside Crossgates in Fife after the alarm was raised at around 12.30pm. Officers were responding to reports of a crash between a car and a lorry.
Pictures taken from the scene showed the multi-emergency response with fire crews also seen to be in attendance. A white vehicle could be seen smashed on the road near a lorry with a red trailer.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 12.30pm on Monday, August 14, to a report of a crash involving a lorry and a car on the B981 outside Crossgates, Fife.
